Sarah received a series of Reiki sessions for a slow healing sports injury and has attended several Reiki classes. In her own words:

"I cannot tell you how powerful that first treatment was for me. When you were working near my head I began to have "visions" or dreams. I am not quite sure what they were, but I had never experienced anything like it before. When I went home my arm was hurting less, but the thing I noticed the most was that I felt more at peace. I had been really upset about my injury. When I cannot be physically active I tend to get depressed. When I arrived home after the first treatment I felt very mellow, and I knew that in time, my arm would heal and I would be able to be active again."

After her arm healed Sarah attended a Level I Reiki class. She wanted to learn to give Reiki to herself and use it in combination with massage. "After the Reiki class all kinds of things began to come together for me. I was not satisfied with my career choice, and have not felt good about it for many years. I had thought of attending Massage Therapy school but was never certain. After I began experiencing Reiki, I knew it was something I had to do. Within 6 mos of my first reiki treatment I was enrolled in massage school, and buying my first home.

My mind has become clearer and my path is opening up to me. Not only am I finding that I want a career change (or at least a career on the side to give me the spiritual satisfaction I do not get from my job), but I am finding that I want to change many other things about my lifestyle. I want to eat healthier foods and live more in tune with the earth.
