Welcome to the Rising Sun Healing Center! Chris and I co-founded this healing arts practice in 1998 and it has been a great joy to be involved in healing work since that time. I now have a separate website, www.CreativeEFT.com.

Two questions have been very important to me: How do people heal? And how do people change? The answers I've found involve the subconscious mind. This is where our feelings, core beliefs, defenses and old programming keep problems locked into place. And so my passion has been learning about the subconscious and developing tools to bring healing to these levels. I am a Certified Hypnotherapist and an EFT Practitioner. Hypnosis and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) are powerful tools to access the subconscious and facilitate change.

We each have the innate ability to heal ourselves and live fulfilling, prosperous, healthy lives. An enormous amount of healing energy is waiting to enter us. By releasing physical, mental and emotional blockages, we open up to it.

The techniques I use with clients are powerful, gentle, and simple. Many problems are alleviated including: emotional distress from loss of a loved one, migraines, headaches, backaches, low energy associated with chemotherapy and radiation, nagging sports injuries, discomfort after surgery and depression.

The most common effect of a treatment is deep relaxation followed by renewed abundant energy. Often one session can make a significant difference. Healing sessions speed progress toward life goals.

I have a Master’s degree from the University of Denver, School of Social Work and have worked as a therapist in mental health centers in Colorado and Vermont. I am a long time student of prosperity consciousness. I have studied and practiced yoga and energy healing in both the United States and India for more than twenty years. I received my Usui Reiki Master’s degree in 1996 and teach all levels of Reiki classes.
